My name is Carol Lucas and I am a nationally certified health and wellness coach and a member of the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers (MINT). I am dedicated to helping others achieve lifelong behavior change. I have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University and a Masters of Public Heath from the University of North Carolina Greensboro.
Through various nursing positions and volunteer life experiences, I have learned that education is not enough to create sustainable change; brochures and lectures rarely motivate people to better their lives! Balance and Thrive is a person centered coaching approach where the client is the expert and drives their progression of change.
Health is the integration of mind, body and spirit and requires self-awareness and self-acceptance. As an ever-evolving process, being healthy means finding balance in our everyday lives so that we may thrive towards our fullest potential.
When I am not coaching or facilitating training, you can find me spending time with my husband and 2 dogs and face-timing with my growing family.
